The local United States Volunteer Rangers Post is the first step in having a locally Chartered group. Your team can do a lot but eventually its time to charter a post. This allows you to get insurance for your activities, connect with other Chapters and host national level events! This makes your group an official branch of USVR, use the tax exempt status for purchasing gear and much more!
